Primary Collection: by this we mean no data has been collected as of yet. There are many ways to collect new data depending on your needs. For a long term multi year longitudinal project, you may need to spend time and money preparing databases and application interfaces to enter and extract that data. Depending on your research project, you may want to send out paper surveys to question the companie's employees, or send a link to a web based questionnaire. *

Secondary Collection: by this we mean data has been collected and stored electronically. However, in this situation, the data is stored on many different computers, many different formats used by many different people. You need to organize, centralize, integrate and manage existing information for your business. Many businesses now have servers to collect and store data in one central location. It is the best way to go, but you may have a person whose workstation contains critical information to make a key business decision. You need that information integrated with data from the central server. It is our specialty, integrating secondary data. Realizing it takes time to integrate and manage this type of data, know it can be cheaper than resorting to primary data collection. If you have the information already stored, integrate it, and use it!

Database
You have decided to collect information and the question arises where are you going to store the data. A database is one place to put that information. You can collect and store data on your desktop if it is a small amount of data and you have no need to share it with others. However, if you want to share that data with others in your office or around the world, you may need a more comprehensive solution.

Open
We offer open source database technologies which are very powerful tools for this purpose. Once the requirements are specified how the data should be put together, MySQL and PostGreSQL are freely available database technologies we recommend for storing data for your projects. It will not interfere with your current central database and it can be used to centralize spreadsheets, access desktop databases into one location.

Applications
If you want a full solution, we provide interfaces to your central data for your project. We acknowledge, there are many instances where this is not required. However, we provide services to simplify and centralize your data management needs. Application programming interfaces can be windows based programs or web based. There are benefits to both, we will discuss those options with you.

The information, your data, is collected. Now it is time to use that information to make meaningful decisions. We offer analytical services to make in-depth investigations of your information.

Reporting
Simple reports of your data may be all you need. We can provide you with a pdf formatted file, a word processing document, html based web page, or we can access real-time data to access your information. The report can be single case summaries or an aggregate of your data.

Statistical
You have decided to aggregate your information. For instance you have derived statistics like a mean, or counts, percentages, etc. These aggregate points of information may not provide enough meaning to make your decision. Your next step is to analyze your data using statistical methods. We provide 25 years of experience in statistical analysis of data. We use SPSS, SAS as well as open source statistical packages R and PSPP when required. Here is just a few examples of analyses we can perform on your data: analysis of variance (ANOVA), correlation analysis, multivariate techniques, factor analysis, discriminant function analysis, cluster analysis, longitudinal analyses, regression analysis, . . .
